Photography Shoot

21st to 25th February 2019

In conjunction with the presentation of the Golden Dragon Photo award and MEAPU award ceremony, join some of the world's top photographers and judges in this photo shoot session in Bali.

Participants shall learn the fine aspects of photography fundamentals as we conduct the shoot. We can talk about shutter speed, aperture speed and ISO as well as which mode to use. Models are there with the staged scenes to provide you with those dream pictures you have been yearning for.

If you like to take photographs under the guidance of the instructor.

If you like to use the pictures taken to participate in competitions.

If you like to experience Bali in a totally different way.

If you like to take a break from work and get some very good images.

PROGRAM

Day 1 (Thursday) 21st Feb 2019 Bali [-/-/D]

Arrival to Bali via the different flights. Transfer to hotel to take a rest. Will stay in the same hotel throughout the trip.

Day 2 (Friday) 22nd Feb 2019 Bali [B/L/D]

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to the beach to photograph the villagers conducting the Melasti and followed by the traditional kite flying. Lunch. Afternoon we will shoot at Tukad Unda with children at play at the water dam. This is followed by the photography session of a Legong dancer in an old museum setting. Dinner

Day 3 (Saturday) 23rd Feb 2019 ______ Bali _ [B/L/D]

Early morning proceed to rice field to photograph the small melasti. Breakfast. Candid market shoot. Lunch at Warong. Afternoon photoshoot in Sangeh with dancer and chicken fight. Dinner.

Day 4 (Sunday) 24th Feb 2019 Bali [B/L/D]

After breakfast, photograph the Barong and Legong performance. Lunch at Warong. Rest in hotel. Go for some shopping for souvenirs. Proceed to Uluwatu for sunset and the famed Kechak dance. Dinner.

Day 5 (Monday) 25th Feb 2019 Bali [B/-/-]

After breakfast, prepare for departure.

Program may be amended subjected to weather and other unforeseen circumstances.

***** FEES DO NOT INCLUDE AIR TICKET TO BALI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. You shall arrange your own air tickets based on where you depart, as we will have participants from various parts of the world.

Fees include:

- All sight photography tour and transfer services as detailed in our itinerary

- Accommodation in Hotel

- Local famous Photographer Guide and our instructor Steven Yee

- Meals: Daily breakfast at hotel Lunch & dinner at local restaurant as indicated in program

- Daily mineral water

- Models, staged scenes

- Admission Fees to locations as mentioned in the program

Fees not include:

- VISA fees and application for non ASEAN citizens.

- International Airfare to Bali International Airport

- Expenditure of a personal nature such as alcohol beverages, soft drinks etc during meals

- Personal Travel insurance (cover against all cancellation costs, medical expenses, including repatriation, in the event of accident of illness)

- Tips for local guide, local photographer guide and driver.

Photography competency level

Beginners to Intermediate.

Halal / VEGETARIAN Meals

We can only provide no pork/lard meals for the Muslim passengers during the trip with the exception when on board flight where Halal meals/Kosher meals are available at own expense. We can only provide non meat dishes for vegetarians.
